Identified a Ly6g-high neutrophil subset in breast cancer lung metastasis that induces CD8+ T cell apoptosis through neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). NET-derived cathelicidin (CRAMP) bound directly to mitochondrial ANT1 in T cells, triggering mitochondrial pore opening and membrane potential loss. Cathelicidin knockout mice confirmed the mechanism.
