Develops separable microneedle patches loaded with thymosin β4-overexpressing ADSC extracellular vesicles (MN@EVs) for treating elderly chronic wounds complicated by cellular senescence. Tβ4 overexpression in ADSCs reversed cellular senescence markers and enhanced EV therapeutic content. In aged mouse wound models, MN@EVs outperformed standard EVs in reducing senescent cells, promoting collagen synthesis, and accelerating wound closure. Demonstrates that engineering ADSCs to overexpress Tβ4 improves EV therapeutic potency for age-related wound healing deficits.
