Identified Boma-CATH, a novel anionic cathelicidin from frog skin with antimelanoma effects. Unlike typical cationic AMPs, this negatively charged peptide (net charge -3) suppresses melanoma growth in mice by promoting pyroptosis, expanding the functional repertoire of cathelicidin peptides.
