Tests thymosin β4 as a non-invasive diagnostic biomarker for NAFLD and its relationship to metabolic syndrome in Egyptian patients. Serum TB4 levels were significantly elevated in NAFLD patients versus healthy controls and correlated with ultrasound-assessed steatosis grade, liver enzymes (ALT, AST), and metabolic syndrome components (BMI, waist circumference, triglycerides). ROC analysis showed good diagnostic accuracy for NAFLD. Proposes serum TB4 as a practical non-invasive NAFLD biomarker in metabolic disease settings.
