Describes an immuno-polymerase chain reaction (iPCR) screening method for detecting CJC-1295 and related GHRH analogs in equine plasma. CJC-1295 is unique among peptide drugs because it covalently links to plasma proteins, making standard mass spectrometry approaches less effective. This iPCR approach provides a sensitive alternative for equine doping surveillance.
