Tests thymosin β4 for protecting osteoblast-like MC3T3-E1 cells from H2O2-induced oxidative stress on titanium (Ti) implant surfaces—relevant to the inflammatory oxidative environment at dental/orthopedic implant sites. TB4 reduced H2O2-induced ROS, nitric oxide, and cell death in osteoblasts on Ti. Demonstrates TB4's cytoprotective effects in the titanium implant context—complementing the ROS-responsive TB4-loaded titanium implant study (PMID 35870263) by establishing TB4's direct osteoblast protection from implant-site oxidative stress.
