Compares in vitro systems for studying metabolism of doping peptides including TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ), GHRPs, and desmopressin—using proteolytic enzymes, human blood serum, liver/kidney microsomes, and liver S9 fraction. TB-500 showed high metabolic activity in serum and liver microsomes. Identifies the most biologically relevant in vitro metabolism models for TB-500—critical for anti-doping research predicting TB-500's in vivo pharmacokinetics and metabolite profiles without requiring human volunteer studies.
