Proteomic study identifying molecular targets of antiproliferative endophyte-derived compounds in HL-60 leukemia cells. Thymosin β4 was detected in the proteomic analysis—its altered expression under treatment with cytotoxic compounds identifying TB4 as part of the cellular response to G2/M cell cycle arrest-inducing agents. While TB4's role is secondary to the main anti-leukemia compounds studied, its detection in the HL-60 proteomics dataset provides context for TB4's involvement in leukemia cell biology and its modulation by cytoskeletal disruption agents.
