Tests BPC 157 (IP or intragastric, pg to μg doses) against acute ethanol intoxication and alcohol withdrawal in mice. BPC 157 strongly opposed the strongest acute intoxication signs (sustained anesthesia, complete righting reflex loss, hypothermia, 25% fatality) given before or after ethanol. During withdrawal (abrupt cessation after 13-day drinking), BPC 157 attenuated prominent seizures when given at 0, 3, or 7 hours after last drink. Confirms BPC 157 as a broad alcohol antagonist (both acute and chronic) via NO-system pathway modulation, earlier established in 16369461.
