Compares copper tripeptide (GHK-Cu) and tretinoin (retinoic acid) effects on normal and keloid-forming fibroblasts in serum-free culture. GHK-Cu at 1 nM maintained cell viability and modestly increased FGF and TGF-β1, while tretinoin reduced keloid fibroblast viability. The contrasting profiles suggest GHK-Cu may support normal repair while tretinoin suppresses pathological scar fibroblasts.
