Researchers tested whether elevated growth hormone levels could suppress the GH response to sermorelin (GHRH 1-29) in healthy men. Even when GH was raised to physiological levels before administering sermorelin, the resulting GH response was not diminished, suggesting that GH does not participate in a rapid short-loop negative feedback mechanism in humans under these conditions.
