Scientists created new analogs of GHRH by introducing the amino acid Gaba at position 30 and other modifications, finding that two variants showed 1.5 to 2.5 times greater growth hormone-releasing potency than standard GHRH in lab tests. The Gaba substitution also made the peptides easier to synthesize, making these analogs promising candidates for further drug development.
