Case series of two patients with refractory chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) unresponsive to H1-antihistamines who experienced clinically meaningful urticaria improvement after starting GLP-1 RA therapy, attributed to GLP-1 RA-mediated mast cell stabilization and anti-inflammatory effects. Documents a potential therapeutic benefit of semaglutide in CSU—a mast cell-driven allergic disease where GLP-1R is expressed on mast cells and where obesity is a recognized disease modifier. Contributes to emerging evidence for GLP-1 RA effects on allergic/immune conditions, expanding the potential therapeutic applications of semaglutide beyond metabolic disease.
