Post hoc SURMOUNT (1, 3, 4) analysis examining physical function improvement by baseline SF-36v2 Physical Function quartile, identifying whether patients with worst baseline physical function derive the greatest absolute improvement with tirzepatide. Patients with poorest baseline function showed the greatest physical function gains. Identifies patients with the most severe functional impairment as the greatest beneficiaries of tirzepatide's physical function improvements—supporting prioritization of tirzepatide for obese patients with significant mobility limitation where functional restoration is the primary treatment goal.
