This study tested three GHRH receptor blockers on prostate cancer cells to see if they could slow cancer progression. The compounds reduced cell growth, increased cell death, slowed cell movement, and promoted cell adhesion (which makes cells less likely to spread). These findings suggest GHRH receptor blockers could serve as a useful addition to prostate cancer treatment strategies.
