This study tested two GHRH receptor blockers (MIA-602 and MIA-690) against both small cell and non-small cell lung cancer in lab and animal experiments. Both compounds significantly reduced tumor growth in mice, with tumor reductions ranging from about 53% to 77% depending on the cancer type and compound used. The blockers worked by affecting multiple cancer-related signaling pathways, including those controlling cell division, survival, and migration.
