Researchers found that a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) blocker can reduce the ability of endometrial (uterine) cancer cells to move and spread. The blocker worked by suppressing two proteins, Twist and N-cadherin, that help cancer cells become more mobile and invasive. These findings suggest GHRH blockers could potentially be developed as treatments for endometrial cancer.
