This review examines the history of thymosin alpha-1 use in cancer treatment, highlighting its ability to regulate immune cell function and directly affect tumor cells. Studies in both animal models and clinical trials of melanoma and lung cancer confirm that combining thymosin alpha-1 with chemotherapy produces stronger anti-tumor effects, making a strong case for this chemo-immunotherapy approach.
