Compounds that block growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) were tested against two types of ovarian cancer in both lab dishes and mice. The treatments significantly inhibited cancer cell growth, with daily injections reducing tumor size in mice compared to untreated controls. The study suggests that GHRH-blocking compounds deserve further clinical testing as a potential treatment for ovarian cancer.
