Computer simulations revealed that the peptide drug Zadaxin (thymosin alpha-1) can spontaneously enter and become trapped inside carbon nanotubes, driven by attractive molecular forces. The findings suggest that carbon nanotubes could serve as nanoscale drug delivery devices, with their length and diameter tunable to control drug encapsulation.
